Little Leon

For Saturday morning, we were looking for a healthy breakfast option in Tampa. Since Little Leon was on my list for the salads we decided to visit Little Leon for the breakfast options. Little Leon is a health food cafe with a lot of options for salads and bowls along with different ingredients. When we went to Little Leon we ordered 3 bowls for us. Two were the big leon bowls which consisted of ingredients from our choice and third was the Thai, Thai again bowl. The ingredients were fresh and there were wide variety of ingredients to choose from. The ingredients are put into the bowl according to our request. The food was fantastic, super fresh and they had an amazing combos along with the fantastic menus. The staff was wonderful and answered all our questions perfectly. I highly recommend the spot for the healthy food.

Too bad. When this spot first opened up my girlfriend and I were super excited and started putting this place into rotation regularly. My how things have changed. The portion size issue, as you can see, was my final straw in reasons why I won't be back. There's been a couple issues regarding discounts and promotions they've advertised in the past; really, no big deal. We've lived I the area for decades and love supporting our local businesses here in south Tampa. The food is delicious but when ordering and commenting on how skimpy the bowl was, we were given an eye roll and ignored. I get times are tough, and I know this spot is seldomly bustling, given it's location, but I can't support a business that takes is financial hardships out on its consumers. I hope business picks up here, because I will definitely miss the food and unique flavors, but until then I'm going to have to choose one of the other options such as Fresh Kitchen, So Fresh, or another local spot that does bowls properly. Wasn't even going to post this review, but since I really do want this place to succeed, and I was given an eye roll and ignored when I asked face to face about it, I feel this is the most productive way to get the owners attention so they can rectify in the future. Truly, this place has great food, and I wish them nothing but the best.

This place is fantastic !!! I’m from out of town, and I came here and it was so good! So good that I came back twice in the same day. The food was fantastic, super fresh, they had awesome combos and an amazing menu. And a staff was wonderful. I highly recommend the spot. I wish they had one in Orlando because I would be there every day.

I had seen this brand new venue having opened while driving to work, so I decided to pull up on my day off. The place was pretty empty, probably due to the time of the day being after lunch time, late lunch for me. Nonetheless it was a decent option. The place looked clean and up to post-COVID-19 health and sanitation requirements. Will have to visit back to try a different array of food elements in my bowl 👍🏼

Little Leon represents the classic healthy bowl spot. Its quick and easy! The staff is super friendly and made great recommendations. It's a decently sized space inside with a very cute lit-up outdoor space. So many options to choose from and all incredibly fresh and healthy tasting! My only issue with this place is as much as I would love to come everyday I couldn't afford it. Food: FRESH and so tasty down to every details, beautiful and colorful Drinks: Their juices were amaze (I went with the beat lemonade as pictured). Space: Clean, well lit and aesthetic / well branded 100% will come again + perfect date spot + perfect after workout meal + perfect leftovers Recommendations: I would recommend (perhaps in the future) a punch card or loyalty program to help with the price (as I love quac/extra add ons). Also there is no very visible menu so as a newcomer (as I was) I had to backtrack from line and look at the menu (deiced to create my own bowl anyway...but perhaps placing a larger menu up somewhere could aid this) Follow: @Sof_Stack on Tik Tok & Insta for more Tampa Treasures!

My husband and I are visiting from out of town and trying to eat healthy. We had bowls from So Fresh the night before and we liked Little Leon a lot more because of their bigger portion sizes and the quality of their ingredients seemed better. We both made our own medium bowls and were happy with what we got. We were actually able to get 2 meals out of our orders.
